How to watch
What time is the launch in UK time?
The next confirmed UK rocket launch is SR75 from SaxaVord Spaceport, scheduled for Monday, 5 October 2026 at 01:00 UK time. Launch times slip often, so check back on the day.
How the launch window works
SaxaVord has confirmed that within the current window (10 August to early September 2026), attempts only take place on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays between 4pm and 8pm local time. A go/no-go decision on whether an attempt will proceed is taken 24 hours in advance. When an attempt is confirmed, a launch exclusion zone is imposed around the spaceport and across a maritime area to the north of Unst for that four-hour window, alongside a larger maritime and air warning zone.
Can I see a UK rocket launch from the ground?
SaxaVord runs an authorised viewing area on confirmed attempt days. Passes are strictly limited: they are offered to Unst residents first, and any unclaimed passes are then released to people from outside the island. Without a pass, official advice is not to travel to Unst on spec.
